I say yes, but only if they impeach Cheyney too. I'd hate to go from bad to worse! We can't afford to let them save face! [glow=red,2,300]Gus[/glow]

I'm no Bush fan but I don't think he's done anything worthy of having him impeached. It takes a very serious infraction to impeach a president. In these times as dire as they are with the war it seems almost silly that people talked about impeachment for Clinton just because of the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

OMG, Clinton lied to his wife and WAS Impeached for the Lewinski affair! Bush LIED to the people of "these United States" about Iraq costing the lives of thousands of American Military personal! Not to mention how he's trashed the American economy, he makes Pres. Hoover look like a Saint. Bush and all his henchmen should be tried for Crimes against the American People! But I guess "High Crimes and Misdemeanors" don't apply to this President!

If the Democrats tried it, it would turn into a public relations nightmare and would be all anyone talked about for the next two years. They haven't handled pr very well in...well, my entire voting life. I think we'll just have to ride it out and hope for the best until Jan 2009, because Cheney is about the only person alive in the US today who might be worse. That man is just plain freaky in my opinion.
You know you're frustrated with all politicians when Jesse "The Body" Ventura says, "Maybe in 2008 we should put a wrestler in the White House," and you actually consider it. Although, a foreign policy team who wear boas and pose at international leaders might just be endearing to some countries! If that were the case, Rowdy Roddy Piper would have to head up the Defense Department. If a country threatens us, he just pokes their leader in the eye. Hard to come up with a nuclear comeback to that and not look like a complete idiot.
Yes. Politics will set me off on a nonsensical rant. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming! Ha ha ha

If the Democrats tried it, it would turn into a public relations nightmare and would be all anyone talked about for the next two years. Kinda like when the republicans did impeach President Clinton! Actually they spent the entire 8 years trying to trip him up any which way they could! I give Clinton credit for doing his job well, inspite of it all! I think we would gain credibility in the world by impeaching Bush, sending the message that WE THE PEOPLE of the USA think he's crazee too!!! SORRY you guys!!!! That's what I meant when I said we can't afford to let him save face! He should be publically scorned! PEACE [glow=red,2,300]Gus[/glow]

I actually would love to support Hillary Clinton for President who I think would do an excellent job. Is the US ready for a woman President though? Doubtful. There are still too many conservative people in the US at this point, but still I think she's got a chance. I'd sooner vote for Hillary than Edwards who I don't think would be as good a candidate.

Ideally I'd like to find someone who can talk to me before asking me to take a poll. I'm tired of politicians who jump and sway to whatever that morning's poll is supposed to have said. As far as Hillary goes I have problems with her but would pick her over some other options (someday I'd love to actually like voting for someone and feel 100% good about it). It really depends on who would run against her. If the Republicans picked someone halfway decent he would most likely win because there are still sexists running around with cash and I believe they would vote for a man they don't really like over a woman they can justify a dislike for. Sad to say, but true. If she's the Democratic candidate I'll support her, primarily because I don't see any Republicans currently in power that I respect, any Independents with a remote chance, and Hillary is at least tough. All hell would break loose down here in Arkansas but we're kind of getting used to that.

Impeach the MF. We've been lied to time and again: 911 had nothing do with Iraq, there were no weapons of mass destruction, he didn't even legitimately win the first election, etc., etc., etc... Okay, I've thrown in my 2 cents...

There are two things you never discuss over dinner at a family reunion.
Politics and religion.
There is a good reason for that.
I do not trust EITHER major party, and until there are serious THIRD PARTY CONTENDERS guess what?
It's "business as usual", and get used to it.
