I'm okay with the melding of bass players. The movie isn't a documentary, it's a story that's maybe kind of based on part of the history of The Runaways. One movie couldn't possibly tell the whole story of all The Runaways ... maybe we need 6 or 7 movies ... you know what I mean? There are dozens of books and movies about Billy the Kid - he only lived to be in his twenties but he was colorful and controversial and people never tire of watching movies about him. The Runaways are also colorful and controversial - good material for at least 6 or 7 movies ... What do you think? Peggy Foster

I think if the movie goes over well, they could make a TV series about them, kinda like the Monkees for the new millenium........

I personally would hate to see 'melding' of the bass players. That would be almost like 'melding' the two vocalist into one character. There were two -- at least for the most part and they were very different and pivitol to the events that took place. I saw on Jackie's Myspace that she was 'open' to communication pertaining to the movie.

Yes, she did say the producer of the film is aware that she is open to the idea of granting certain life story rights under the right conditions and he knows where to reach her. She also said that until she knows more about it and/or has seen a script, there’s not really anything else to say about it.
I know she was asked to get involved, early on, and opted out. I guess maybe she's decided it might suit her fancy after all, under the "right" conditions, whatever those might be. I hope she'll be as flexible and optimistic as possible when and if she grants her life story rights.
