I'm HOPING that since Jackie's name is now listed on the main page w/ the other girls, that they will cast someone as Jackie and not "Robin". I hope they cast the full "Fab Five"! I'll still watch the movie either way, but I'd REALLY DIG it if it's Jackie's character!

the best chance they have of this being a success, is to make it a comedy, like Spinal Tap . it isn't gonna be a documentary anyways, so it might as well be entertaining !

in a effort to curtail rising costs, Kristen Stewart, will be playing the parts of all the band members and Kim Fowley... this will be made possible by a wonderfull wardrobe and costuming department and the extensive use of computer generated effects. you heard it here first!

I can appreciate the humor and get a laugh, lol, but I actually believe that the movie is going to be a success! I believe that this movie and it's success will also turn alot of people's attention, including young teens, to the Runaways movie! I can't wait!

my $.02 if it's going tobe a movie about the RUNAWAYS, ALL the bassplayers should be included both Jackie and Vicki, we're both an important and integral part of the band and to dismiss either of them would be a travesty I also wish Joan had taken an active part in EDGEPLAY

Hi Randy! Welcome aboard. It's been said many times but since you're a newbie, I'll reiterate. The movie is based on Cherie's book, so it will "naturally" tend to focus on the Fab Five. Vicki came along after Cherie was no longer in the band. Kinda hard for Cherie to write about Vicki's experience in The Runaways, since she wasn't around any more. That being said, I think it will be a great movie about The Fab Five! Have a nice day! Gus

Joan said she wanted NOTHING to do with what she called "a Jerry Springer BITCHFEST". Vickie Blue's documentary was ALL one sided and NEGATIVE!
No mention of the Runaways MUSIC, or INFLUENCE, or ACCOMPLISHMENTS.
ALL IT WAS were insinuations of verbal, sexual, and possible physical abuse. Fights and Rivalries. Sandy WEst BEGGING for a Reunion was absolutely SADDENING to watch! (No thanks to Lita, there NEVER was a reunion, but that's another topic)
No wonder Joan didn't allow the Runaways music in the movie when the movie WAS NOT about the MUSIC!

Cherie was still with the band when Vicki came along, although briefly. I have a publicity photo of the band from a photo shoot that has both Cherie and Vicki in it.
I totally disagree about Edgeplay. You can't call something one sided when it was in the band members own words and they spoke for themselves. Everyone was given a chance to relate their experience. Even Kim. It's unfortunate that Joan didn't participate or that the original music wasn't able to be used but that was Joan's choice so Vicki can't be blamed for that. Joan's participation would only have made the film better. I found the movie candid, truthful, real, and a stunning achievement. Fortunately we will always have Sandy's interview on record because of Edgeplay.
Also blaming Lita for the band not having a reunion is not a fair call. It's all who you believe I suppose. If you believed everything you heard you might have heard that Joan's camp had too many demands (not that they shouldn't because of her status as a rock star) that made it unreasonable for some of the members.

Actually I did hear something to that effect too. I guess NOONE will know the EXACT and ACCURATE account of what went down. PERSONALLY, IMO, I don't think Laguna and "the camp" should've had anything to do with it, IF THAT was the problem. I mean, with the Blackhearts, YES, with the Runaways I think the GIRLS having control sounds more reasonable, but, I don't know what EXACTLY happened, or none of us for that matter, since NONE of the girls discuss it publicly of the defunct reunion process, surprisingly, not even in Edgeplay, maybe for legal reasons it wasn't discussed purposely!
