Rich's Music Exchange conducted an interview with '80s hard rock queen Lita Ford at this past weekend's NAMM international music industry trade show in Anaheim, California. During the chat, which can be viewed below, Lita revealed that she is currently working on her new album for a tentative spring release. "Wicked Wonderland", the first album in 15 years from Lita Ford, sold around 2,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 31 on the Top Hard Music Albums chart. "Wicked Wonderland" was released in Europe on October 2, 2009 via earMUSIC/Edel. The set was issued in the U.S. on October 6, 2009 through Lita's own JLRG Entertainment label as a regular CD and limited-edition vinyl with different artwork. In an "innovative" music marketing move, Ford released a single from "Wicked Wonderland" on Stockroom.com, the world's leading fetish site. It was believed to be the first time a relatively high-profile music release was launched through a web site catering to the alternative fetish lifestyle. www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=152428

OMG...haha. Wonder who she's talking about when she say's she doesn't want to write a book about drug use or being gay, this guy was probably thinking what the hell is she talking about? Most truthful rock n roll autobiographys are going to contain content about drugs and come on.....the gay thing in Neon Angel really is just a footnote, it's not like your being hit over the head with it or like your reading Brokeback Mountain (great book and movie!)
At least Lita looks very attractive on the outside still, it shouldn't have to be that way but it's reality. Let's hope she realeases a true LITA FORD album and not another Lita and Jim album. It's just like I remember Pat Benatar, I really don't want a Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo album, I know he's a great guy and her husband, it's just my preference. I would die if Joan ever officially released a "Joan and Kenny" album. I know all these men do work together with these artists and they should be aknowledged....I just don't want to see them in the photoshot or hear them singing.

If Lita does write a book I'm sure there'll be references to drugs. No book about rock and roll is complete without reference to drugs. She just wanted to take a swipe at Currie and Jett. She might have been thinking about the movie when she talked about being gay. It always bothered me that whenever that movie got reviewed, the reviewer ALWAYS brought up that d*** kiss.
Anyways I'm glad Lita is going to be making a new album. Usually when she says she's making an album....one actually comes out a few months later. I agree with Injett. I'd love a true Lita Ford album (Out For Blood, Dancin' On The Edge). Nothing against Jim but I really miss her old original sound.
Realistically all Pat albums have been PB and NG albums....he just never got as much credit until recently. Also all Jett albums are more JJ and KL albums than they are JJ and the B'Hearts.

I was gonna say, all JJ albums are a Joan and Kenny production; but I can't help but think that they must have similar tastes in sound. I know what sounds to me like his influence, but I could be totally wrong. Ugh, I'm such a Libra... Anyway, my internet is down and I can't read the Lita interview from my blackberry. I can, however, read the comments about her, and they're all attacks for the most part. I hate it.
