rock n roll and the world lost one of it's most effervescent drummers of all time. Sandy may be gone, but her legacy lives on.

I didn't realize today was the anniversary til I saw Cherie's post on FACEBOOK. My nephew and I were at a Jett concert in CLeveland and when Joan took the stage and ripped into BAD REP, she never smiled once and a guy who I had just met standing next to me asked "Wow, she does not look happy" and after she finished up the song, instead of going directly into CHERRY BOMB she stopped and told us Sandy had just passed away then dedicated the song to her. Unbelievably she stayed after the show and signed autographs still, teary eyed and all.

The best female drummer of all time! I wish they could have done a real Runaways reunion while she was alive, if only for her. She was practically begging them to in Edgeplay. Rest in peace.
