Peggy Foster, Second From The Left. I was recently added on facebook by someone saying they were Peggy Foster, the one time bass player for The Runaways after Michael Steele departed. I was wondering if anyone could verify to me if this is indeed her and to state that if it is indeed her there are some super funny stories she is posting on her facebook for those interested in reading them. She also states that she was in The Runaways for 6 months not "a couple weeks" as some have documented. Does anyone here have any definitive information about her or her time with The Runaways? I will add that I feel it is a disservice to the story of The Runaways to have one made up bass player to be created for the film that encapsulates all the bass players that were a part of The Runaways Herstory. I understand the reasoning for it . So it's like a group of girls coming of age journey from teenagers to adulthood who tuffed it out together though black leather, tight jeans and barbedwire and came out on the other side triumphantly but to let Hollywood turn it's back on certain people that were intrical to the process along the way I feel is wrong. Even if there is "bad blood" or it is a way to simply save money. It could also simply be that Jackie didn't want to be included in the movie at all and therefore that is why they had to "create" a new fictional bass player. In recent posts by Cherie she has stated that this movie bass player is not a Frankenstein creation of all the bass players that came through the Runaways ranks. That is my take. Thank you for your time. Shades

Yes, Peggy Foster Bassplayer on Facebook is really me. I'll be writing more stories there as I have time. My MySpace page has songs that I've written in the last year. Peggy

I've been a musician since I was 6 years old. The Runaways were about the 3rd or 4th group I was ever in. I'm still a musician. Peggy

I'm sure you meant well Shades but I don't think it's appropriate to paste Cherie's blog here like that. The link would suffice, imo.
