I was reading through the CD booklet of "Waiting for the Night", and it mentions that the spoken middle portion of "Gotta Get out Tonight" was hard to decipher, but "not for the faint-hearted". I gave it a listen, and to me it sounds like "mumble mumble mumble ... I bet you'd like that, wouldn't you? ... mumble mumble mumble ... mmm". I didn't even notice there was a spoken part before. Now it's bugging me. Anyone care to hazard a guess as to what it says?
Also, just got a copy of the "Live in Japan" record, and in one of the inside pictures it looks like Joan is giving Cherie a boot to the midsection onstage. Anyone know the story behind that one?

Not sure about those mumbled words but the picture of Joan and Cherie just looks like fun stage antics, to me! Kinda dangerous in those platform shoes I'd imagine! GD

"I'm gonna tie you up and s**k you h**d "...."I'd bet you'd like that, wouldn't you?"...." "I''m gonna cut you lose, we can slide all night....mmm" ( it pays to have vinyl/analog).... and it's not a kick. back in the day, Joan would put her foot/leg up on Cherie as in a rock n roll pose....
