Hello, Who I am is not really important. I just today discovered Sandy's passing and wanted to express my sorrow. She would come and listen and watch me beat the crap out of my drums when she was very young before she obtained the spotlight. All the best sandy you are missed by this old man even though I did not know you well. RIP.

Hi Larry! Nice to meet someone who obviously had a positive impact on Sandy's musical development. We all miss her too. Take care now, Gus

I was a kid/teenager when I came across The Runaways and Sandy. I`m still so deeply sad that she had left us. I always thought, there would might be a chance to reunite the Runaways but when Sandy passed away - I don`t know what to say....... It hurts!

Sandy was the "heart" of The Runaways - it was plainly obvious to me after seeing her in Edgeplay...

Wow, bri0032, you must be one of the youngest people on the forum. I often wonder what teens today think of 70s music; it seemed old to me when I was a teen listening to it in the 80s - it must seem ancient today. Though somehow it's also timeless. I ask young girls I work with (in their twenties) if they've heard of Joan Jett or the Runaways; most of them haven't. So I tell them to check 'em out on YouTube, and they're just amazed!
