Having met my wife and three lifelong friends here, I am sad to see it go. The internet is too darn fickle for my tastes sometimes.

Hmm. Not terrible, but not a rock 'n roll version. It reminded me of a sampler CD with representations of hit songs. I finished it!

Sad to return today from a long time away and see this. I too met the love of my life here along with some really awesome friends. I have great memories from that time. I can't know what's going on, but I hope to find you elsewhere. Most of us are on facebook and have emails.

I missed all the hair pulling, happily! But I'll just say that I'm glad there seems to be some peace. I play and have fun in a veiled bravado...but I really couldn't call myself a Jetthead if I didn't also love and admire the entire group of Runaways. I drove 5 hours round trip on a work night, sans sleep, from Seattle to Portland, to meet Cherie at a Runaways movie premier.
The more I delve into an era in which I was in diapers, the more I realize how important each of the Runaways was to all the music I love today.

oh wow i thought the eye mark was a birthmark like Jodie Foster's. seriously scary that it was from that projectile.
as for plastic surgery, oh well. her looks are part of her performance. she's never claimed to not care about her looks, right? she's been dying her hair since her teenage years.
I think she looks more Nordic now than Irish/French. that's the only striking thing to me...that and the veneers on her teeth, which looked really odd when she was so thin in the late 90s.

Donnie, I'm glad you cleared that up. People can really attempt to influence opinions, especially in the cyber world. We all fall prey to it.
The difference is, you're addressing it from a personal point of view, and not spewing hatred, singling out people by name. It shows your earnest position and garners much respect...from me absolutely!
I don't think there was a Joanie fan at Vancouver who didn't see Joan NEEDED to be on that stage, with us, feeding off us. It was all over her face and in her words. She reached out many times, as many as her body's state would allow.
