Hey everyone, I wanted to send out a personal note to everyone who attended the show: THANK YOU!
I didn't get a chance to hang out in the club because I was so busy in the backstage area, but the view of all of you from the stage was FANTASTIC.
This was a golden moment in Rock and Roll, everyone who participated was just fantastic, and I did get a chance to sneak to the side and watch the Bangles, wow. "Queens of Noise" wow, it was just incredible.
EVERYONE who performed was just amazing, I can' t thank them enough for participating, everyone had so many wonderful things to say about Sandy....at times it was very hard.
Please, send your reviews and experiences of the night in via the feedback form on the site, when Chrys gets home, she will start posting them.
We hope everyone who did attend had a great time, and I hope that we made enough noise for Sandy to hear us.
I will post more later,
The Hawk

Saturday night was a fantastic (and exhausting) night. There are a lot of people who deserve a lot of thanks, and after the jet lag wears off, there will be a much more detailed post here by one or both of us.
Thanks,
Chrys therunaways.com

Since I am stranded on the East side of the Mississippi, I am anxious to hear any reviews and hopefully see a couple snapshots. All I can do is imagine the Bangles version of Queens of Noise. I'm Sure Sandy could feel the Love & Energy from all of her friends

It really was a great night Saturday. There are a lot of people who deserve a lot of thanks, from the awesome crew at the Knitting Factory to the bands to the California Pizza Kitchen to the fans and beyond. It was definitely a sold-out house and a passionate atmosphere. All of the performers put in a lot of soul and seemed determined to bring the house down.
If I hadn't stepped off the plane with the mother of all sinus infections I would go into more detail. I'll leave that up to the Hawk but I definitely want to send a huge thank you to everyone who took part in this. I saw a lot of people who were truly touched by the effort that was put into this show by everybody, from the club to the bands to the promoters to all the fans who stood for hours and rocked out for Sandy.

Hi everyone. Over the next couple of weeks we will be adding some new photos from Sandy's tribute show, as well as some older ones, to therunaways.com Gallery. Anyone who took photos at the show and would like to share them, please send me a note via either MySpace or TheRunaways.com Contact Page (preferred) and let me know. We will also have news on some auctions in that time, so stay tuned to MySpace.com/neonangels and therunaways.com. I also posted some pictures taken by Brian Lynch on the MySpace that will be part of a coming update on the site. You can see them here.
