Hello all. I got some emails the other day about the MySpace either taking forever to load or not loading at all for some dialup users. So I took off the videos, leaving links instead, and removed the flash music player and Amazon widget. I've been told by one person this helped tremendously, so if any other dialuppers want to try it out and give me an opinion, I'm open to it. I want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy as much of what we can put up as possible.
Thanks
Chris, Chrys, or whichever you want to call me

I was one of the dialuppers who it wouldn't ever finish loading for, so I never got to see the way it was before but it works fine now and looks good too! Thanks! I wish more people on MySpace would get clued into this problem! Gus

I didn't know people still used dial up. No offense, but why? Broadband is so much better.

According to Pew, as of March 2007, 47% of people had high speed internet in the US. Talking to my friends, price and access (some live in the country or areas of the city where there still aren't dsl-capable lines) are the big stumbling blocks, especially now.

I see. I guess if it is not available, it's not an option.

that really is unfortunate, as high speed can be obtained for as little as ten bucks a month. i've been helping my family and staying out at their place in the 'burbs, and had to use dial-up for a while. it was really tough to get work done, constantly getting bumped off line.

Not to mention that if you invest in a lap top there are tons of places that offer free wifi.
