When conducting Dance Lessons New York City's prominent dance classes and their tutors are a class apart. Consider the comments made by a prominent dance tutor regarding the unique dance new moves that have been recently introduced. He actually tried to adapt it to theater as well. According to him, 'I used to find it invaluable for crossing a large stage with ease, rather then by a series of central muscular spurts; having arrived at the pro-scenium edge, and wishing to turn fast, one could remember to keep the weight on the upstage foot and let the head swing a fraction down and sideways towards the audience – then the whole body would begin a slow turn. For a fast turn, one would still put the weight on the upstage foot but use the downstage leg and foot to swing back; for a violent turn you might need a dancing swing of the downstage leg (and that was practically the same as one of the movements in putting the weight or shot and discus throwing). This gives terrific neatness and precision and, once mastered, as an unique technique, it will release you entirely to concentrate on word memory or emotional portrayal. So, can it be adapted to life. Yes! In conjunction with the weight of one's own head, it has helped people to shy away when entering a café and get to a far-off table without too much fuss or embarrassment, and patients in pain to get a dreaded little journey over more easily.
