My first show as a Jetthead, second show ever.
Security was too bossy at first. The show had a slow vibe until we got Dougie to encourage us standing dancers. They didn't allow any standing at the crash barriers.
They were making people sit down until the 4th song. We would stand up, some of us. But they were threatening to throw people out just for that.
Thankfully that stopped.
Joan used the white sticker Gibby most of the show. That made me a happy girl!
Met Enzo, Dougie, and Thommy after the show. Joan had to go, and jumped into a car in cognito.
Got a Dougie pick also.
Great first show as a real Jetthead!!
I got audio of sound check that is really good. Show audio sucked. Way too much kick back going on.

Will pop that and the whole show up soon an PM it to you. Wind screwed up some of the soundcheck...and seriously, the kick back was terrible for the show itself. I mean, the vocal portions were great. But when the bass and drums were clipping...it's just noise. I want to go through it to get the very short set list for posterity, though(only 1:25 show).

She did do "Backlash" and "Fake Friends" and "The French Song". No "Fetish", and some of the dirtier stickers have been removed from her guitar. She still has "Fetish" on it, though. the "69" is gone now.

this was the moment I think she seemed to enjoy most.
The sun was in her eyes the entire show, the security was making everyone mad, and the freaking VIP front row wasn't even standing up for the most part. They blocked access to the crash barriers, and I think the band was just doing what they could with all that.
Still a great show! Just clearly stifled by the circumstances.

I have a few more...but they are all pretty crappy because of the no-cameras deal. She only played 2 or 3 songs with the Blackhearts MM. I was SO glad I got to see the sticker geet live again(last time was over 10 years ago, and I was not really into her yet). Didn't think she was even bringing it along anymore. Attachments:

i know, right? And she played Fetish at a G-rated show only last week. I don't know for sure, but it seemed like they either had to get moving to get her to Clarkston, or it was just too d***ed annoying hearing so much kickback. And without the crowd being into it(there were about 40 of us really rocking, and the seats were only 40% full), Fetish might not have felt fun enough. I sort of wish she would have made the trek into Seattle for a huge turnout. We have casinos here too!

by the way, the website for this venue lead you to believe it was indoors, not the outdoor stage we came upon when we arrived. they said it started last year. some of us Jettheads choose a show for the anticipated venue type! I really thought it was an indoor, lights and all production. Not complaining...just a hint to the venue to pick up the communication a bit better.
