I saw on VH1 where Joan Jett owns the publishing rights to I LOVE ROCK N ROLL.
Joan said she bought the publishing rights for $1,000 .
I read that & saw that on VH1.

It was on that Rolling Stone page too. Joan said Blackhearts bought it for $2500 and it's worth $20 million now.

definitely good clarification...though one has to suspect that Joan's version is the one making the most money out there. the whole $20 million seemed a stretch, though. it's never been used as any sort of theme song for anything, right? that's usually where you're going to rack it up. I mean, it can't have been in so many movies and TV shows that it's worth that sort of sum. Perhaps that was a cumulative guestimate of what the song in its entire span of life across all artists has made.
Or RS could be full of it.

Vince Neil - ARRESTED FOR DUI This doesn't surprise me. When I worked at The Riviera Club in Atlanta Vince Neil performed a solo show and was about 2 hours late. Well he had been partying at The Cheetah & The Pink Pony 2 famous female strip clubs in Atlanta and lets just say there was alot of urination going on during the set from Vince who didn't care who saw his privates. At one point Vince just whipped it out and grab a wine bucket and starting peeing in it and then threw it behind his amp. Although I did work there , I was not working that night , I just went to the club to see Vince perform. Believe it or not although he was drunk as hell it was a really good show and mainly all Motley tunes. I also worked at The Pink Pony strip club that Vince Neil went to from time to time cause the same owners who own The Riviera Club also own The Pink Pony.
