I keep asking my secret source but they have no clue.Billy Idol & Creed are playing both on the same day in Atlanta but different venue's. I am thinking Joan may be opening for Billy Idol - I can't see her opening for CREED. Depending on the venue that , I may or may not go. If she is opening for Billy Idol at Chastain Park , I'm unsure cause it's the worse place to see a rock concert unless you like to sit , drink wine & eat cheese. you are allowed to bring your own food & drinks so whities bring wine & cheese & sit there like d@mn fools. If you stand they are ready to fight or have you kicked out for standing & blocking their view. I would rather see her in Tunica,MS where it's her own headline show in a casino than at Chastain Park in the ATL !

It has now been confirmed that Joan Jett is indeed playing Chastain Park in Atlanta with BILLY IDOL !!!
That’s right folks, Billy Idol is headed out on tour, and he’s bringing his stunning rock star abs and trademark pout-snarl with him all across North America. Keep reading to see if he’s playing at a venue near you.
Idol starts things off in Tulalip, Washington on August 5, then heads out for 27 performance dates. He’ll finish up at the HFStival in Gaithersburg, Maryland on September 18. Guest performers Slash and Joan Jett will join Idol for a hand full of dates.
Currently, Idol is set to play multiple dates across Europe, which includes an appearance at Leicestershire’s three day Download Music Festival on June 13 on the Snickers Stage.

A few of us Florida Jettheads have already made tentative plans to attend this show; time for a road trip. I'll have to call Mikey and tell him I'm coming.

wow really ? Well, be warned that this venue joan is playing at in atlanta is in the middle of a neighborhood. The sound is very low & it's nothing but yuppies sitting eating cheese & drinking wine. This is a sit down type of dinner venue with tables on the main floor . There is no way to get close & down on the main floor unless you wanna pay like $600-$800 for a table. The closet besides that is side seating which would be BOX SEATS. Chastain was built for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra which many years later would turn into a concert venue for ALL ACTS not just the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.Back about 5-6 years ago the community of Chastain Park who live around the amphitheater fought with the city of atlanta to lower the Decibel Level which they did so the sound is not the same & I can hear people talk over the music. It's ok, I guess for older people that want to sit at a concert but it's not for the younger folks who wanna go , rock out, dance & just have a good time instead of sitting there like your at a movie. How do you sit at at ROCK CONCERT ? A few photos of the tables

Thanks for warning me about it...And true how do you sit at a rock concert?? That's ridiculous the 1st runaways gig i saw was at a seated venue- the hammersmith odeon in london. it wasn't like an outdoor restaurant though! actually, a lot of the bigger rock venues here are seated- it's only the smaller ones that aren't.
