I noticed the tone immediately towards Lita. I also skimmed around the first book prior to getting the new edition and the tone is different.

wtf?, in the movie poster photo showing KS as JJ with the guitar, they couldn't spring for a $12 white pickguard to make it more realistic?
and the best review quote they could get was that "KS as JJ struts with abandon" hoo boy !!!! that'll make everyone rush out to see this movie!

I liked reading about when she saved Jackie's life.

Lol! (I'm laughing all the way through this ben and jerry's).
It kind of annoyed me at first that she even seemed to assign blame to Jackie's mother for always being there to pass out the pills, but hey- maybe the subject of The Runaways makes her feel 16 again.
I'm reading "wake up, I'm fat!" by Camryn Manheim, and she mentions something called "Roshomon". It means "through our own eyes, we see what we see". Interesting philosophy, I love that idea. That said, I'd love to hear the other Runaways' visions of that period. It's so fascinating, albeit brief, to read Joan's POV in the Oldham book.

I wonder what kind of diet Lita went on. By the time the Runaways split, she was a lot thinner.

the 'pop star' that Kim supposedly pimped her out to is now called just that: pop star. After reading about that pop star's "sexual prowess" I'd say she did him a gigantic favor by not mentioning his name.

He loved em young. Got Linda Blair's mon to let her move in with him when she was 16 and he was 28. Also tried to get a 14 year old Valerie Bertinelli into a bedroom at a party, while he was in his mid 20's.

I was just looking at his wikipedia page. It says he considered his involvement with Blair to be his first "grown up" relationship. I guess he has dealt with serious depression most of his life. Probably karma.

I got it and read it. it was really quite good I thought. I have never read the first one tho, to compare it to. Since I am not a millionaire I will probably never own the original.
How is it that all these people in here got an autographed copy sent to them?

ok, I started reading it . I am only up to page 70 but , I'm convinced that Cherie is - Bi Polar & has several inner body different personalities like Sybil ......
I was reading about her getting raped when I was stopped in my tracks for a few pages cause I had to read about winnie the wolf . Did we really have to read about winnie during a rape scene ? this happens a few times where you starting reading & then out of the blue cherie changes the subject to go on & babble about something else .....
this is the craziness , I am talking about.
coo coo , coo coo
