Just got all the Cherry Red remasters on cd except they sent me an Anagram unremsatered copy of AND NOW .... Searched all over the internet and the remaster seems to have vanished off the face of the World.
Does anyone have the 2003 remaster for sale, know where I can get it at a sensible price or provide me a COPY of it for sale or swap?
Many thanks.

And Now... The Runaways was not remastered in 2003/2004. My CD copy of this album was printed in 1993 by Anagram / Cherry Red - CDM GRAM 63. As far as I know it has always been in print since 1993, so they didn't remaster it when they did the rest of The Runaways' albums. www.cherryred.co.uk/cherryred/artists/runaways.php

I remember being on a trip to Toronto back in the mid-ninties, and that was when I found the Runaways finally on CD with "...And Now". I always thought it was so strange that out of all their catalog, that particular album would be the one available...

Hello All, Well, Since Chrys and I helped in the re release of these fine cd's, I can tell you that the only re released ones were: The Runaways Queens of Noise Live in Japan Waiting for the Night Flaming Schoolgirls
We Love Cherry Red! *tired now*

Many thanks for the messages. Seems odd that Cherry Red missed the final album but hey a splendid job was certainly done on the others. I'll close down my search now then and accept that one cd isn't so well defined as the rest. Thanks again. Rob

I have all the Runaways albums on vinyl that I bought back in the day--including "And Now..." which I bought as an import shortly after it was released. I want to get them all on CD now, but I'm concerned about one of the tracks on "And Now...." I listened to the tracks on Napster, and the closing guitar solo on "Takeover" is cut off. On the vinyl album, it goes to a complete fade, but the track I heard online just stops abruptly. Has anyone compared the two tracks? Am I just imagining this? Maybe I'm too much of a purist, but I think this particular solo really rocks, and I want to hear every last note of it.
Thanks! Steve

I don't have the vinyl version but I do have the Cherry Red CD. It starts to fade out but, like you mentioned, it cuts off abruptly with the guitar intro to My Buddy And Me.
It's a cool guitar solo, at the end of Takeover. I'd love to hear the rest of it!
Have you compared your import to the U.S. vinyl release?
Gus
before fading all the way out.
