The whole Joan's shoes thing is pretty awesome, but Kristen can't top that hair... Even since she got it cut and dyed i've been set into full-on swoon mode. New generation JJ . . . . . It's a beautiful, beautiful thing. . . .

Oh good, so I'm not alone. I swoon over Joan Jett in the first place (the overwhelming emotion kind)(I think I'm in love with her. Wait, is that weird since I'm only 12? ) so I guess Kristen having the hair just does the rest.

Eh don't fret about the age, just keep the 'look but don't touch' thing in effect CanNOT wait for this movie, or Cherie's re-written book XD She said a while back that she's re-written her autobiography and included some things she had left out previously and added some names. I'm super stoked!

Eh don't fret about the age, just keep the 'look but don't touch' thing in effect Well, yeah, I know it'll never happen. CanNOT wait for this movie, or Cherie's re-written book XD She said a while back that she's re-written her autobiography and included some things she had left out previously and added some names. I'm super stoked! So it IS true! This is, like, the best year of my life. Even though it'll most likely be coming out next year (unless Cherie takes a break from being a Chainsaw Chick for a little bit to edit her book), I'm still freaking excited. Now I don't have to spend $70 on a used out-of-print copy. I'm still in love with the old cover so I hope that doesn't change.

I got my original copy of "Neon Angel" from Amazon and it was second hand and s***ty (but still readable) so Cherie sent me a new copy that she personally signed and a photo of her she personally signed and a limited edition "Neon Angel" t-shirt. Best day of my life. Hands down.
I kept the packaging. Haha!

Really? That's awesome! I envy you right now.
I'm still contemplating whether I should spend my money on a book that I seriously want right now that will probably be beat up but still have an awesome cover or wait a year (or more) to get a cheaper, new one that might not have an awesome cover. It's a hard decision! (well, for me anyway)

Holy s*** don't mention school. I gotta hook up a complete working rig and stage for my Music Industry assignment at TAFE and put on a performance at some local school. AND i gotta get a hold of Anita Donlon (the current manager of Dave Evans, the original singer of AC/DC) about a music management mentorship. Ugh. And then im doing roadie work for a death metal band called "Athens" that my mate Jason manages. Getting into the music Industry is hard work lol. Then away from TAFE i got 3 VCE classes. For Music Styles i gotta create a soundtrack for a 5 minute film, then in English i gotta do 16 mini essays on that movie "Shindler's List" about morals and ethics, then in Theatre Studies i gotta do a folio about Peter Pan and about the make-up and hair and sound and light elements of the play, then i gotta learn my lines for the performance of it, which is bulls*** cuz im the freaking narrator but have to sing and prance around the stage lmao! Other than that, i enjoy school Get the darn leather chucks. They sound sweet.

Oh and then i gotta interview Ross Knight from the Cosmic Psychos for another TAFE Music Industry assignment. Well, we're supposed to interview anyone in the music industry but i do weights with Ross on Tuesdays and he's toured with Nirvana and L7 and we'll probably have a couple of beers in the meantime. I love that guy haha he named his sheep after famous female rock musicians. He's got Lita, Courtney (Love), Chrissy (Amphlett), Joan, Suzi and Chrissie H (Hynde). Pretty sure there's a few others but i can't think of 'em. . .

The narrator in Peter Pan?? Ouch... Well at least you get to work with music. For me, the only thing that has to do with music is Music class. In 8th grade I think I have to do a paper on any composer and take pointless tests about crappy music. The only upside is that we get to bring in 'listening examples' and I'm going to bring in a hell of a lot of rock 'n roll and punk.

Aw i miss year 8. I was such a feral back then. I skipped pretty much all of my classes except Music cuz i was the only one in the class who could play guitar, and English because my teacher 'Lamby' was/is actually English and i loved his accent and all we did was talk about how he partied with the Clash one time and how Joan Jett has never aged haha.
Now, in year 11 i actually have to work in class. But i love it cuz all but one are music classes and i don't have to be able to read music in any of them, phew! But at TAFE i sit and talk with my teacher about how he grew up around the corner from Chrissy Amphlett (lead singer of the Divinyls) and how his older sister was best friends with her and his mother was best friends with Chrissy's mother.
I keep getting soooooooo off topic. Sorry guys.
Yes, Kristen Stewart is Joan Jett in this movie. . . i like it haha. Seriously though, she looks heaps better than i expected.

Okay, one more off topic thing to say: I'm pretty much doing what you did except I'm still skipping English and I'm not going to skip Social Studies. My teacher is freaking awesome (Joey Ramone spit on her face during a concert!!) and I usually just talk with her about music and the good ole days (a.k.a. the 70's). Is it sad that some of the only people I connect with is people older than 40?
Back on topic: Kristen is so much more awesome as Joan than I originally thought. I hope she keeps her hair in the jet black shag and continues to wear leather pants. I still think they should change Eclipse and make Bella rebel against everything she was in the past movies. And then in Breaking Dawn she can kill the Cullens and have this huge kill-fest with all of the other vampire clans!

Argh I can't stand Twilight. My ex has an obsession with Vampires and LOVES Twilight and she did nothing but drive me crazy about it. I love Vampires too, but actual blood sucking, 1600's Vampires that hunt at night and fly and turn into bats and shrivel up in the sunlight. Not sparkle. Vampires do not fu-cking SPARKLE!!
The only way i could sit through the movie was by judging Kristen on her 'Joan-ness' cuz i saw it just after she was confirmed in the cast. Kristen's a darn BABE haha!
