LOL! I just checked out the myspace...that is definitely not Kristen. lol That is the exact opposite of her personality. Sorry. I wouldn't waste your time with that myspace. Some good fan sites are her message board on imdb and www.kstewartfan.org/ if you want news and updates on Kristen.

So I was in Virgin Mega Store in Times Square the other day, it's this HUGE music/dvd store in mid-town Manhattan, and while my niece was browsing I saw this huge book on the movie "Twilight". So I picked it up to check out the girl who is going to play Joan Jett. And I leafed through it, and there are most certainly some pictures where i said to myself "oh, yeah, totally". I've never seen her act, but some of the shots of her in that book really made me see why the casting people went the way they did. There was one pic of her in a green hoody, with no make-up on, and she really resembled a young Joan.

. gargle some shards of glass kristen cuz joan's voice is pretty raspy. Joan's voice wasn't too raspy when she was 17/18. Here's an interview from 77 on the Tomorrow show. www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTTISqJ3kSE

Thanks, I guess Joan has met Kristen now. I wonder if anyone has supplied Kristen with The Runaways music yet?

Ok, so I saw "Adventureland", in part because I grew up 15 minutes away from the park it's based on, (and they NAIL what it was like back then, it's great) but also because I was dying to get a look at Kristen. I feel like she's dead on to play Joan Jett. She totally can pull off that look, and she has a simplicity to her acting; I don't wanna say "deadpan", because that's not what I mean, but it's definitely a less is more kind of thing she has going on, which I feel is perfect for Joan. My only concern is the vocal quality. Joan's voice was a lot less deep then, but it had SUCH a particular quality. I wonder how Kristen will do with that. As far as the essence and the look, I really think she's got it. Oh, and go see "Adventureland"! Especially if you grew up in the 80s. You'll get a kick out of it.
