One Of The Rarest Pieces Of Runaways Memorabilia Would Have To Be These Original,Authentic,Promo-Only European Tennis Shoes. Most Fans Have Heard About These Tennis Shoes But Haven't Actually Seen A Pair. I Bought These About 17 Years Ago As "Rare European Tour Merchandise" From The President Of A Fan Club That Featured Cherie Currie And Other Women Rockers. I Still Have (And Will Include With Purchase) The Newsletter I Ordered These From,Correspondence With Seller,And Purchase Receipts. I Don't Know What Women's Size They Are,But The Soles Measure A Scant 9 3/4" From Toe To Heel. Especially Considering The Rarity,This Pair Of Shoes Really Aren't In Bad Shape At All. The Insoles Look Very Nice (See Photo #2). The Toes Are Pretty Clean (See Photo #3). Group Logo/Album Title On Right Shoe Is Only Slightly Faded (See Photo #4). Logo/Title On Left Shoe Is Even Nicer (See Photo #5). Considering The Shoes Have Been Worn,The Only Real Amount Of Wear Are On The Soles (See Photo #6). There's Also A Black Mark On The Right Shoe's Heel (See Photo #7). But,This Mark (And A Brown Spot On Left Shoe Behind Toe,Visible In Photo #1) Could Be Removed. I Have Made No Attempt To Clean Or Restore Anything On These Shoes. They Are Exactly The Way I Bought Them 17 Years Ago.

Seriously, how much fun would it be to have a bottomless pocketbook and just buy any and all of The Runaways stuff you could find?
I've always thought that if I had an opportunity to go to Japan, I'd head right for their rock and roll memorabilia stores and do a major Runaways hunt.
