it does seem to be largely laguna's fault that there is a rift between lita & joan- i reckon that that if joan had a different manager, the girls would be friends again by now, after all, lita has tried- & the runaways would most likely have reformed (or at least, played on each others albums/shows).

If you believe that you have to wonder why Sandy never played in any of the other's bands. I don't think any of them strived for any professional connection after the band ended.

well, sandy, cherie & jackie played together in '94, & lita did make a couple of attempts at reunions- only for laguna (so we hear) to throw a spanner in via his interference. & don't forget that, '94 aside, the other girls may have given sandy a wide berth on account of her association with crime & drug addiction. what i'm suggesting is that, without laguna, lita's attempt at mending the fence with joan would probably have worked- & that would have left the door open for the others to do the same, making a reunion/collaboration projects more likely.

Wilkinss77,
I believe you are absolutely right. Actually that is exactly how I feel.
Thanks,

I think Cherie and Sandy have always been the ones willing to do a reunion at any given time. I think Joan and Lita have been the ones that have not been ready. I think Joan and Lita have both been willing to do a reunion, but it's just sad that they didn't want to do it when the other was willing. It seems like when Lita was ready Joan wasn't, and when Joan was ready, Lita wasn't. This isn't just with a reunion tour, but movie and studio projects too.

And then there is Vicki's version that they were all set to go but Joan's camp had so many demands that it wasn't doable for anyone.

and then the version where they were all on a conference call and Lita gets ticked off and hangs up because she doesn't like Joans tone in her voice. I guess that's my point, probably enough blame to go around (except maybe Sandy who probably wanted it the most).
