How long has this been circulating amongst dvd traders? I just got mine about a year ago. I've seen it in trader's lists before but I always assumed it was just a copy of the official dvd. Great show by the way!!

I got The Full Length on VHS like 2-3 weeks after VH1 aired the cut version before the official dvd. Mine was called - Manager's Uncut Version which is the same Uncut version that is out there. I since lost my version many years ago like 5-6 years ago while moving so I need a copy of it on DVD or if anyone knows a download site for the Uncut version that would be great but yeah, I use to have this on VHS and the Joan Jett board would Banned me or delete me from talking about it at the time. Now, I see people talk about it on there and 10 years ago you would be Banned for talking about anything Boot related on the Joan Jett board. I hate that board !!!

What's with the ads over there? They are beyond annoying.
A friend sent me a dvdr of that show, some time ago. How do I know if it's the full length version, or the "official" release?

The Full Length bootleg version is 135 mins and has I Love Rock N Roll on it twice and Kiss on The Lips,Watersign, Baby Blue to name a few.
The OFFICIAL release is something like 45 mins and just the hits.
oh and the uncut bootleg version has Friend to Friend ( full song ) on the official dvd it is cut.

I prefer bootlegs over official releases. One of the best ways to appreciate the Runaways (and many other bands) is via bootlegs. I pity any Jett, Ford, Runaways fan who hasn't heard at least one.
I definitely remember the Jett Board being strict about bootlegs but I think their main concern was the sale of bootlegs not trading.

I used to be highly annoyed by the ads on the Jett board also, until someone suggested I simply turn down the volume of my speakers, DUH!!! So now that's the first thing I do when I am on Yuku.
I had the official version of the Rockies but handed it down quite a few years ago after I got bored with it. Seems a shame that BH never released the full version officially. Having Friend to Friend on the official release would have made it very popular with fans.

The one thing I would like on this board is a chat room.
There is alot we could talk about and so many new runaways fans and maybe we could even have Cherie or Jackie join us for a special chat.
Thats the one thing , I did like on the joan board was the chat room and you get to know people alot better. No one ever uses the chat room over there anymore so it's kinda useless but I do wish this board had one.

Jettigre....Did your version have an edited version of LOVE IS ALL AROUND? Mine had all the songs that yours had but LOVE IS ALL AROUND was shortened.

Yes, It's like 1 min 20 secs.
They didn't perform the entire song just the short version and then goes right into ''TOUCH ME'' !!!
