Dawn Davenport was some character. What was that line from the movie..."Mr. Wineburger, Dawn Davenport is eating a meatball sandwich right out in class and she's been passing notes! " LMAO!!!
I was at the premiere of Female Trouble. Divine wasn't there but Edie and the rest of the cast were. I think it was 1975 or thereabouts. I have seen Divine live doing her disco act tho.
I think Pecker is an underated John Waters movie. I laughed my *** off at that one; "no tea bagging!." I still enjoy Pink Flamingos at times and let's not forget those classics The Diane Linkletter Story and the one where Divine plays Jackie Kennedy wearing the pill box hat.

Memorable quotes: Female Trouble
Prison Guard: OK, Lez-beans! I caught ya! Bumpin' pussies is a violation of jail rules!
Dawn Davenport: Get off me... LAY OFF ME! I hate you, f*ck you! f*ck you both, you awful people! You're not my parents! I hate you, I hate this house, and I hate Christmas!
Aunt Ida: But you could change. Queers are just better. I'd be so proud if you was a fag and had a nice beautician boyfriend. I'd never have to worry.
Ernie: No gay knocks for me, Ida! At best, all you've got here is trade.
Aunt Ida: f*cker! Pig f*cker! Hetero! Filthy hetero stink-sh*t!
Dawn Davenport: You're a pain, Taffy. A pain in my big a$$hole!

You are probably right. I never actually had one of the scratch and sniff cards but I thought the whole idea of it was hilarious.

FMC - Fox Movie channel is running a 24 hour marathon of The Rocky Horror Picture show for Halloween so it's on all day today for your pleasure. I like when TBS does this for christmas for A Christmas Story !!! I'm from cleveland where they filmed part of A Christmas Story and they turned the original house into a museum and you can actually tour the house and see that famous LEG LAMP. I have never been since I moved from cleveland several years ago but that would be cool to visit if anyone is ever in cleveland. There is even A Christmas Story CONVENTION coming up the end of november. If , I still lived in cleveland I know I would attend. Just thought , I would share this for you who love the movie like I do. Information - Admission - Convention - Location - Gift Shop www.achristmasstoryhouse.com/

I also prefer older films. For Halloween, the original "The Haunting" from 1963:
"The Old Dark House" (1932)
"Freaks" (1932)
"Carnival of Souls" (1962)
"Spider Baby" (1964)

I saw Blondie on a show called Backstage Pass, a few days ago and John Waters was a surprise guest caller. He mentioned Debbie's role in Hairspray as a "totally supportive" mom who was even willing to pop her daughters pimples for her and then he asked her if she ever had any pimples on that famously photogenic face of hers. I couldn't believe it! Debbie looked bewildered but said "yeah sure."

Amber Von Tussle - The girl who played Debbie Harry daughter in Hairspray is Colleen Fitzpatrick who had a punk rock band in the 90's called ''Eves Plum'' which I loved. When Eves plum disbanded Colleen Fitzpatrick became well known as Vitamin C and schools across the globe used her song ''Graduation'' as their school theme for Graduation even still do today. I had the pleasure of spending many hours hanging with Colleen before and after gigs while she was in Eves Plum. I have so many PRIVATE photos and MEMORIES of us just hanging out like going out to eat with the big heads of Sony Music. One time Colleen even came by to visit me on my job which was a total surprise. Colleen was always so nice to me. After Shows, she always told me to stay with her so no one got out of line . hehe !!! The last time I got to see and hang with Colleen was in 1996 in Cleveland , Ohio at The Euclid Tavern the same Euclid Tavern that Joan Jett & Michael J Fox played at in Light of Day. Colleen wrote a message on the wall there by the bathrooms , I believe it said ''Cherry Alive'' and drew a Cherry by it. I wonder if it's still there ? Colleen told me she was very close to Divine before his death and Debbie & Colleen went to his funeral. Colleen has also done several cameo appearances in movies over the years. As recent Colleen did some stuff for Hannah Montana the show & movie ( I don't like Miley Cyrus ) so not sure what but I know I miss Eves Plum.
