The first book isn't THIS book. I comes from a different place and I don't as you put 'kiss ass'. If you don't read the new book, you don't know what I didn't put in the first book.

Cherie, I understand your point, but with all due respect I would like to ask a question. Why would this book be from a different place if it about something that happened long ago, I mean why would it be different from the first unless it was colored by your feelings and/or opinions of events that happened later on? I am not asking this to start trouble or give you a hard time in any way, I really would like to know.

I am happy to answer that question for you. The first book written in 88 I had four years sober and still suffered very low self esteem. I was reeling from the past and the things I had done to others. I took the full force of the blame when in truth, others had to share that. I had let people take advantage and control of me. I was too young to fight for myself and management were of course out for themselves. This time around, braver, older I needed to set the record straight. The first book was more of an apology... but as years went by, and yes, becoming a mom, I came to grips with what really happened and those responsible AS WELL as myself. I took the kiss ass out of my new book and told the stories I couldn't tell in the young adult book.

Cherie.. you are just WAY! to nice and you dont have to defend yourself to any person in here! and the truth of the matter is...is that you are just a hateful...hurtful Bully...I made a comment that I did not like a certain blog...and that it could not have been written by anyone who was any real friend of yours(Cherie)...and I was given a direct "Warning" that (dag) "tolerated you" and that I should do the same...are you kidding? what kind of garbage is that? If anyone has a low opinion of you it is because 98 percent of your posts usually involve insulting Cherie or something else nasty...no one who was a happy person...would need to do that....

Cherry, you were deliberately instigating drama by scum bagging Jackie for no reason. It's totally not the same and you don't know jack about me to be calling me a bully.

BTW, Jackie would like that thread removed. Is there a contact so we can assist in that? I am asking on her behalf and have Jackie's complete support.

Cherie - I love your cover of Roxy Roller I have said that many times since I got my hands on a Bootleg version from your live show at The OC FAIR this past summer.
Is Roxy Roller going to be on your new album ?

Cherie, I understand your point, but with all due respect I would like to ask a question. This is what should be happening on this board since Cheries arrival! We are very lucky to have a member of The Runaways join us on this board! We should be taking advantage of her presence, asking her questions & showing her the love we all feel for The Runaways. Its time we stop all the hatin' !

"since you've been gone," came out the best....the rest of the album was a poorly produced. sounded like a cut rate Vegas lounge act....not a good representation of the talent involved. 'Tho M wt B was ok on Mike Douglas and Merv's show

Hey rknron, I agree with you. The album was overproduced as well though. We had Greff Workman engineering who did the Cars and Foreigner. Wonderful talent but no one knew when to stop.. (and the drugs and booze flowed freely in those days in the studio) and I had no say. I wish I would have stuck with john Carter from Capitol and done the record they wanted. I'm glad I've finally forgiven myself for that now. Even better that I have this new chance where I am involved with Matt Sorum and other very 'hip' people cause to be honest. I listen to classic rock and am totally out of date with what's happening. Jake is also so current. Donnie, I wanted to preform Roxy since my OC show was for Runaways fans and fans of the movie. We are planning to do that one as one of the covers. 14 tunes on the new record (I am old school too ;-) !
