well, it's prettier than the 'standard' barbie, but it's still too skinny

So, my friend got the JJ doll yesterday. The head mold is not Joan, but from the Vitamin C doll. The hair it comes with is awful: After hair cut: If you want, I know he does this for collectors, PM me and I'll hook you up. I think he charges 20-40 per doll. Lots of collectors use his services.* Note, I kept the pics large so you can see the detail. Original Vitamin C Doll:

OMG !
I just love Colleen Fitzpatrick. We use to hang out alot when she was in Eves Pum before she became known as Vitamin C.
I have tons of personal photos of Colleen when we were friends but then I lost touch with her in the 2000's.

Looks like Joan to me, but why is her head way too big for her body? Is this a jab at her ego or something?

That person is charging $20-$40 a doll for what? The haircut?

Yup. Doing it is expensive. Takes more time then doing your hair. Takes two0three hours sometimes. Don't even ask how much to re-thread a head is. BTW-This person is a friend.

Ok, just askin. I didn't think it looked THAT different for the price. I just got another and the hair looks kinda cool, better than the first. So sold the first.

If I were you I would have kept the first, always buy two. Get one's hair fixed, display that one, keep the other in package. Seriously.

Wow, a whole subculture I wasn't aware of.
Yeah, Runaways action figures would be cool. Platform boots, and correct guitars for Joan, Lita and Jackie. I would expect a Cherie doll to come with multiple costumes - corset, silver suit, black cowboy outfit. It would make a hilarious video to shoot the Runaways' story with action figures.

I still have another on the way. Long story, but I am winding up with 2. Also have the Debbie HArry one since she was my forst fave rock star. Now if I can just get Benatar and Hynde ones made....
