What do you guys think? I love it; I was a little bummed about there not being a bass player's name up there, but I think they put them together as there were a few. I love that there's merchandise, and look forward to even more stuff. What about you guys?

Yep, from what I understand Blackheart owns the new site! I haven't had time to explore it much yet but I like the way it's set up, for sure! Gus

Nice, but short shrift to Jackie, and the video player isn't working so good..

I think it looks great, but I was bummed about Jackie's name not being there! Is there "bad blood" between Joan/Blackheart and Jackie??? Just wondering...

Anyone else notice that Jackie now has her own section and isn't lumped under "bass players" anymore? Hmm... methinks someone is reading the message boards. Good call, except now it kind of seems like Vicki is getting the shaft a little bit. She was around for the last two albums. Oh well, can't win them all.

Like they said, she wasn't the first bassist but she is the most well known! Long live the Fab Five! GD

Yeah, but Vickie DID NOT PLAY on the "And now the Runaways" record. LITA FORD played the bass! Vickie only played on "Waiting for the night" (unless someone else did and I don't remember, lol)

And, to be fair, Jackie didn't play on the first record (it was the dude from Blondie, no?). Truth be told, I'm just trying to play a little Devil's advocate to see if I can bring any Vicki fans out of the woodwork. To be honest, I'm not super attached to any of the bass players (I'd probably have to say Lita is my favorite on bass!). If they are going to single out one, I'm not arguing about Jackie being a logical choice. Sorry if I inadvertently offended any Jackie fans.

Vicki only played on the title track of the Waiting For The Night album. Sal Maida played bass on the rest of the tracks.
Jackie played on two complete albums and the only reason Nigel Harrison played on the debut album is because Jackie, who had just switched from being a guitar player to being a bass player, was apparently not proficient enough, on the bass, yet. Obviously, she mastered it shortly thereafter!
The band went on, for a while, after Cherie and Jackie left but it was the Fab Five who were the REAL Runaways, imo! Gus

The 2 best Runaways albums were "The Runaways" and "Waiting for the Night"
So for me even after the Fab Five, the Runaways Rocked it as a foursome as well, though Cherie was missed!
