So, I have had an influx of PM'S and Emails regarding "Can't Stand Dancing" done by Jackie.
If anyone has a link, please to post it for the fans.
I personally, would LOVE to hear Jackie sing!

All I got was a "this document doesn't exist" error. Grumble. Any other places that anyone knows of?
Thanks

To paraphrase her comments, from a few years ago, Jackie recorded "Can't Stand Dancing" with the Kats, which was fronted by Freddy Moore, Demi Moore’s first husband, and had just found out that Freddy put the song up on his web site, although it didn’t seem to be working the last time she had checked. She said that when we heard it, we’d know why she went to law school! The back story was that she was working for the publishing company that handled Tom Petty’s catalogue, among others, and there was a studio next door which was run by Noah Shark and Max, the guys who produced the first two Tom Petty albums. She wanted to sign the Kats to a publishing deal, but couldn’t get her company to bite, so she hooked the guys up with Noah and Max and got Daphna Edwards (now a big political mover and shaker) to sign them to a deal on her label. As a thank you, Freddy wrote this song for her, and Noah and Max produced it. Noah and Max had never heard her sing, though, so they had her triple track the vocals just in case, which means she had to sing the song three times exactly the same way, which really takes the character out of a lead vocal. She said it was pretty embarrassing, but at least now, with the link she provided, we would have a really good reason to trash her in public! LOL! She also said Freddy’s lucky she liked him, since she never gave him permission to put it up on his site. I had to go back to my oldest computer to find that link. As I recall the recording sounded great but it looks like it's been removed from the site now. That other version of "Can't Stand Dancing" features Freddy Moore on lead vocal! Maybe Freddy would make it available again, if Jackie asked him to. Howzabout it Jackie?!?! Gus
